Default Bulb. sumatranum

This is a rebloom of a plant that I obtained from Wilbur Chang in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The plant which has 3 flowers and 3 buds is grown in a 4-inch plastic pot with New Zealand sphagnum moss as the media. The flowers partially close at night.

Mel - Just as I told you last year, it is absolutely stunning. I love the color saturation in the sepals. Good growing.

It is with sadness to report that Wilbur Chang passed away on May 18. He was a friend to many orchidists and will surely be missed here in Hawaii.
