I got 4 spikes on mine this year too but they bloomed while I was on business and were on the way out by the time I got home. No pictures this time around...

Hubby enjoyed the blooms though. Wish he had gotten the tripod and camera out. Bummer.

So it seems, that my little resqued bulb medusa is extremely happy and excited about coming back to life........growing very well........ And has once again decided to show me how spectacular its flowers are...... Just got over the excitement of the last flowering and now another 3 spikes are developing...... Absolutely excited....

Will post pics as soon as she gives me a spectacular show

Hi all: What gorgeous flowers you have obtained from your medusae. I just got one a couple of days ago and am in a bit of confusion as to the potting media it came in. It is in a pot with what looks like almost compost or some type of potting soil - not bark media. I am a little apprehensive about this media. I do not want to murder another one especially as I paid $50.00+shipping for it.
It has 7 or 8 pbulbs and generally looks OK but not as lovely as some I have seen here. Oh, and it is B. medusa 'Peter' according to the tag. Anything special about that? Thanks for any help, suggestions.
