Default Bulb. "Ted Kellogg"

A-doribil Super Star "Ted Kellogg"

I thought I had one bloom, so I moved it because of the cold weather. By changing the light source the second bloom didn't open correctly. Nice candy strips, smells like dead fish. Tip to tip overall length 8 inches, the sepal petal has a long tip, making a nice tophat.

Dead fish! I hope this one is in the greenhouse and not, let's say, on the dining room table.

Really a beautiful bloom. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful bloom. Too bad it doesn't smell as good as it looks!

Carol - Great Bulbophyllum but I don't believe that it is A-dorill Super Star. Every one that I have seen has been yellow. It is a Bill Thoms cross and he is a member here on the Board, I would e-mail him to positively identify your plant. To me it looks like another of his crosses Bulbophyllum A-doribil Collin which is (Bulbophyllum Doris Dukes X Bulbophyllum echinolabium)

Thanks Glen, Ted Kellogg is e-mailing Bill for me, trying to ID. I sent a copy of the tag also, maybe they can ID handwriting. Thanks for your help.

Heard from Bill this morning and he is saying Bulbo. A-doribil Collin, Thanks for all your help. This plant it seems was just mislabeled.
