Default Mastigian appendiculatum

I had never heard of this one before I bought it...Smells just slightly fishy, Sue!
It seems to be putting out buds in succession, as I only saw the first one and then another has popped up and today I noticed that a third one has started!

I have never seen this before either but I like it. I especially like the long tail.

Interesting guy, isn't he! Mastigion appendiculatum = Bulbophyllum appendiculatum.

Seems that Kew likes the "older" name. World Checklist of Selected Plant Families: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
