Default Bulbophyllum pardalotum

Howdy, folks! Single bloom open for me now on this really amazing Bulbo. Can't take credit for it, just received the little guy a couple weeks ago.

Each of B. pardalotum's blooms open each morning and close each night.

This seems to be as open as he wants to be for me, but I wish he'd be more open. The photos are very true to color, but I wish I were better able to capture the detail of the spotty lines of red.

No fragrance. Just cute cute cute!

Nice one. Cute little guy and nice orange! It's a really nice looking plant too. Any "fragrance"?

Thanks, Royal! He is really cute. No fragrance on this one. Also, in terms of the color, it's not so much orange...the lines of red spots are much much more distinct than my photos do justice, and they are on a rich goldenrod background. So, probably, the lack of detail in my photos makes the red and goldenrod mix into more of a general orange.

Beautiful! I had this one for a short time. Got a division from an eBay vendor, but it didn't survive the shipping for very long. Definitely one to try again.

Very cute!
Isn't it amazing that it can put that size bloom on such a thin little spike!
I want one

Oh, I love this one, Yvan. Those colors and shape are fantastic. And their habits...opening/closing, I find so curious, didn't know there were Bulbos that did that! Have to keep my eyes open to add this one to my collection.

Outstanding!

Bulbos are really different orchids! I like the orange color.
