This is not what I'm used to with Bulbos (not that I grow any *sniff*)! Great one!

What a nice flower Yvan. Would you let all of us know how long this flower lasts? Thanks so much for sharing.

This seems to be as open as he wants to be for me, but I wish he'd be more open. The photos are very true to color, but I wish I were better able to capture the detail of the spotty lines of red.

No fragrance. Just cute cute cute!

Yvan, very interesting. How big are the flowers and what is the country of origin?

Thanks guys! Yeah, I am really in love with this little Bulbo! Below is Jay's IOSPE info. Also, for reference, the mount is about 3.5 inches long.

Flower Size 1 2/3" [4 cm]

Found in the Philippines as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with 1 1/4" to 1 5/8" spacing between each, 4 sided pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, ovate, leathery leaf that has an erect, basal, 1 2/3" [4 cm] long, slightly longer than the leaf inflorescence with a single flower, that opens each morning and closes each night, lasts for about 10 days and that can bloom at most any time of the year. This species needs to be mounted on tree fern or cork to accomodate the rambling plant habit.

I love this one....mine has bloomed once but I have not gotten it to bloom again for me

I did move it to a different location the other day as changing the culture a little seems to initiate some of my hesistant bloomers
