Bulbophyllum makoyanum confusion???

I just saw the pictures of the real Bulbophyllum makoyanum. The flowers on the plant are strangely beautiful!

So the seller sold me a plant that is correctly identified as Bulbophyllum makoyanum.

I knew there could only be one!

Although, I think Bulbophyllum flabellovernis (Bulb lepidum) is also beautiful in it's own right and deserves a place in someone's collection.

Which orchid isn't beautiful in its own right? When I fist saw Hennie's plant he had a wrong label on it and I told him so and offered to buy the plant from him (knowing what it really was) but he wasn't biting. So now I will have to wait until his plant is divisible!

I just acquired this bulbo. makoyanum, but perhaps the label was wrong? or is it a type of cirr.?

The only photo I have from the previous owner, was somehow messed up, so the true colour is the bit of pink at the top of the photo, and the rest of the photo is chopped up sorry. If anyone can help id this bulbo, i would truly appreciate it!

One of the photos is that of Cirrhopetalum falbelloveneris, aka C. lepidum.
The other one is C. brevibrachiatum, I think.

By the looks of my own photo the bloom is a bright pink right to the tip, so by the looks of it, I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that it will bloom again, so that I can see what it actually looks like! then I may be able to figure this one out! thanks for all the info everyone!

It's hard to connect someone who goes by the name "King of Orchid growing referring to the lateral sepals as synsepals (which only occur in the Cypripediae), but here goes:

Bulb. makoyanum has tubular lateral sepals and Bulb. lepidum (correctly called; flabellum-veneris) has flattened lateral sepals.
