i got this plant like 5 years ago and i tried a few things to make it self sufficient in my climate. some bulbos get put in baskets in pans and others on mounts and yet a few needed something in the middle. i made a bunch of crap that sucked and then made this. it is not the best version because the palm branch i used has a VERY short life span as you can see but it is a good mount. the gutter guard holds both leca and some growcubes as well as catches leaf litter so there is a lot more moisture than a normal mount but not a pond.


anyways, this year she finally liked the accommodations and...

i have had a cold for months (thanks, kids!) but i dont get any scent from it in the early evening
