Spike or leaf, the plant sure looks healthy & happy! I just could not resist relaying a humorous event involving this plant. Years ago while at an orchid show my wife & I had finished putting in our display and were leaving the area when we had to pass near to a display that wasn't complete yet. The show was in the fall and this exhibit was using bales of straw as a back drop. There was only one gentleman working on it an he had set a large specimen plant of this Bulbo on top of one of the bales to get it out of the way. He was all bent over and totally engrossed in finishing up his exhibit. Also, his pants had kind of dropped to resemble those on a plumber working under a sink! EVERYONE who went by would wrinkle their nose and give him a rather a curious look. Poor guy was totally unaware of what was going on!
