Placement for Best Light for Phals, Onc, Catt & Enc/Epi? Female

@Ray not rude at all.

Majority of these orchids have been given to me as gifts from clients or my parents. I have made two spur of the moment purchases with the mini oncidium and the cattelya that was basically free because itís spikes had been broken off.

I have been researching but I am finding a lot of conflicting information out there and itís hard to piece together whatís right and what to avoid.

Iím hoping to travel to Niagara Falls in Ontario at the end of the month there is a big orchid place there that does basic ďhusbandryĒ type classes on the last weekend of every month.

I appreciate all of the advice.

EDIT: Ray I have read your articles, all very informative and I have actually saved a screen shot that has a quick lighting/culture info for determining if something is right for me.

I literally fall into your novice problems like you wrote it just for me lol....
One of the biggest problems novices get themselves into is that of buying plants they like the looks of and hoping they can grow them, rather than understanding the conditions they can readily provide
Another common problem is that of folks buying one or two of each a wide and disparate variety of plants before they become an experienced grower of one or two types.
