Default Sticky, Colorless Droplets on Orchid

I'm finding just a few very sticky, colorless droplets on my new Catasetums. I don't see any drops on the leaves, just on the stalks of the new growth. The old psuedobulbs don't have either.

I don't see any insects or anything that looks like scale. The leaves do have some very tiny brown spots and a few areas with small holes or abrasions.

Should I be concerned?

No. It's "happy sap." It's a naturally occurring substance.

Sap from excess sugar production as was mentioned. Not to worry at all. Happens to a lot of orchids. Many people experience this.

Have a taste. It's always very sweet, and on some plants downright tasty!
