Pollination succesfull?

A few days ago I felt like pollinating this flower of my NoID phalaenopsis. Now the flower is completely yellow and the petiole thing has ribs and is green. Are these signs of pollination?

The "petiole thing" is the ovary, and while the reaction you have seen is what happens at the time of pollination, it does not guarantee that the "pregnancy" will produce any viable seed.

It likely will, but no way to tell, for now.

Ah yes, the ovary. I forgot what it was called

So it is pollinated! This is the first time I've pollinated an orchid, in all the other attempts I've tried (Dendrobiums), I've always dropped the pollen mass.

Why is the flower very yellow though? Is it "shriveling"?

Once the flower is pollinated it has served its purpose and is no longer useful to the plant. That is what you're seeing.

But will the plant continue making flowers?
