Lot easier than you thought, eh?

I am amazed that you can buy 4 inch deep pots.

Yes it was pretty easy, a lot of the roots were firmly stuck but there's nothing else I could do.

I'm amazed I guessed the pots were the recommended size by eye. Ha. The pot was almost £3 so I wouldn't like to need to buy a lot of them.

An update, the plant seems to be doing ok, lots of new roots! And over all looks pretty good considering what it has been through. Now is this a flower stalk or something else? It appears to have a root?!?!

I suspect that it is a keiki. While it will develop roots and be capable of becoming an independent plant, I would suggest leaving it attached even when it does grow a full set of roots - it is quite capable of flowering while still attached to the mother plant, just improving the display when the mother plant also blooms. The more flowers the better!

Oh nice! This time last year the plant was in flower but nothing this year, not even a sign of flowers. Maybe it will skip a year? Due to the trauma it suffered?
