Hi,
This is a dendrobium that I have just received from eBay. I am pretty new to orchids and need your advice on how to proceed with this one. Should I pot it as is or does it need some rehabilitation ? Thanks!

I wouldn't try to pot that. Maybe a ziplock back with some moist moss on the bottom. Pot when roots form.

A vague image is not visible and you do not specify what kind of dendrobium is. It may be the case if the plant is not in the vegetation season and you will have to expect to see signs of life until spring.

The label says dendrobium Johnathan's glory 'dark joy'. Hope these are better pictures. Thanks so much!

I agree with Ryan. I don't see root nubs forming yet.

If someone offered me that for sale, based on those pics, I wouldn't buy it.

They posted pictures of a potted plant that didn't look anything like what I have received. And this is a replacement because the first one they sent me was worse state than this

I've bought worse. Try the bag and spagh method. And don't buy from them anymore...
