well i have my first orchid bloom ever today....now its an orchid i bought a coupld of weeks ago in bud hoping for blooms but instead they blasted

so i cut it back to the nearest node hoping for a re-bloom and what do you know this is what ive gotten

just thought i would share my joy!!!

WOOHOO Lucky you. congratz. I never managed to buy a plant without getting the buds blasted first. You got more luck then I do

Which oncidium is that? Is it a Tolumnia?

it came frome lowes w/ two tags on it the first read "Mini-Oncidium" and had a pic of a red oncicium. the second read "Rdcm. Crystal Veil x Rdcm. Spring Bouquet" so im not excataly sure what kind it is considering i dont fully understand the second tag.

Rdcm. is a Rodricidium (Rodriguezia x Oncidium)
