If you can provide suitable light, a Jackfowliera (Iwanagara) Apple Blossom would be a pretty easy grower under typical household temps, and isn't too picky about water. There are several clones on the market, and the scent varies greatly in variety and intensity between the clones. First off, avoid the clone sold as a Better Gro bag baby, known as "C". No fragrance whatsoever from what I've heard. From my own personal experience, 'Fantasy' or 'Hihimanu' are the most powerfully fragrant clones, with a single bloom of either filling a room with fragrance. 'Fantasy' smells very much like an old fashioned rose, while 'Hihimanu' has a more typical Cattleya fragrance. The 'Fangtastic' and 'NN' clones are also nicely fragrant, but not as powerfully so. They do however tend to produce more flowers per spike, so things even out a bit.

I have a Coelogyne Ochracea, in water culture, which fills my kitchen with a lovely dusty sweet smell.

My Bulbophyllum biflorum just bloomed (Link to the thread), and about the smell; it definitely has one... for the first few seconds it smelled fine, like a watermelon, but then after a while... oh boy, it made me nauseous when taking pics of it. My nose was about 10cm away from the flower when taking the pics. The fact that it flowers with 2 flowers at a time probably amplifies the smell a bit, heh...

So, definitely has a scent, and it's definitely strong, strong as in it gives that "punch" to your sense of smell, not strong as in it will fill up a whole room.

Default Fragrant orchids

Hi,
At the top of my list if Miltaniopsis "Pink Lemonaide". Its scent fills an entire room.
cycnodes "wine delight"
A lot of cattleys are fragrant.
I suggest googling "fragrant Orchids". My favorite online orchid stores are Seattle Orchids and Brookside. They sell healthy, good quality orchids.
As phalaenopsis bellina is fragrant.
If you use youtube subscribe to miss orchid girl. She posts awesome, informative vides on orchids.
