Default Lost a leaf

My mini-phalaenopsis just lost a small yellow leaf on the bottem. Is this normal?

Probably it was an old leaf. That's normal.

Marie78, yes, I agree that this is normal to lose the older bottom leaves. I find also that the loss of bottoms leaves is increased due to changes in environmental conditions. For example, this summer my air conditioner went out for a few days. Within a few days, many of my phals bottoms leaves started to yellow and die once the air conditioner went back on. As easy as the experts say that phals are to grow, you don't hear anyone tell you how really fickle they are...and they are!

If you lose another one check the pot for root rot or overly wet media.
