OK, I have had this Catt for well over a year, and the latest Pbulb sheath has these patterns on it.

What do you think? Virus?

My first thought would be insect damage early in development. But the picture isn't real clear. I would isolate the plant if you can.

A better picture will help, but what I see does not suggest virus. As with any plant you suspect may be virused, a 'visual' is insufficient to confirm or refute viral infection. You have to do virus testing to be sure.

I can't tell, but it seems unusual a virus would attack one sheath of a new growth and leave the leaf alone. There's always this:

Orchid Pests, Orchid Diseases
