There is a frog in my FWC Cymbidium...
I discovered this little fellow this morning when I was inspecting the roots in my fwc Cym. I live in a jungle and it has poured rain every afternoon for a week and this is the second one I've found on my balcony.
So... I don't have the heart to disturb him if he's decided that that root system is the home of his dreams... do you think he'll stay? Do you think he'll poop and pee? Do you think he's going to have little tadpoles????
The pic of him perched on the rim is when I first disturbed him and he jumped out and hung around on the wall for a while. The second pic is after he made himself at home again.

I love when I see little frogs in my outside orchids! (same for little lizards!) As others have said, they're good to have around. Make sure you don't use any pesticides, or anything to treat diseases while the frog is there.
Frogs are amphibians, so eggs are laid in water where the tadpoles will hatch, and live, until they have legs and can breathe air.

Your tree frog is likely a temporary visitor, just passing through. Enjoy while it is around.

So true. He was there last night and gone today. I wondered if he was going to hear his family calling for him in the night. I was hoping he would stick around.

Oh my gosh - did you catch it before it went into the media or was it on the foliage?

Thanks, White Rabbit. Hopefully he will come back and bring his cousins with him.

I was watering the plant and it stuck its head up through the media. I tried submerging the pot in water in case it was possible to drown it, but it could still be in there for all I know. ^^;
Definitely prefer adorable frogs....
