Does this look like it's begun the blooming process?

Each new growth will do this. When it has enough growths to support a bloom, a spike will develop from between the leaves on the top of the pseudobulb. It may be in a sheath or not, depending on the plant and growing conditions.

I saw your plant! I couldn't see it before because I was trying to do it from the app, and the app does not always work the best. I am glad we are at the same stage. I have to learn the growing process so I can understand what I am doing. I can't wait to see yours bloom! Make sure you post a new pic when something appears from the middle!

When I bought it it has two buds that blasted and never opened. So, I never saw its flowers.

I haven't noticed but there's something there...



I bought it in the autumn so I always assumed this was a late summer/ autumn bloomer. How long it will usually take to flower from this stage?
