I don't know a lot about them but these are what I have. I'm trying to learn, all but one of these came from the grocery store here. They are starting to cary some that aren't the normal ones I have, some very large orchids, I mean ones as tall as I am almost, those are very expensive. Some mini ones, which I didn't photograph my teacup orchid in this group. It's not in blood right now. The first one and second one I don't know what they are. The stem shown is for the second (red) plant. I got some suggestions on here and I think they may have been correct. The first one is just different in amount of flowers that it has. But the yellow with pink streaking, that one is on it's second bloom for me and I was super excited to see it come back. The one that doesn't have any blooms, that is a young orchid, got it super cheap from a grower local to me. It's a Den. Kingianum Merlin (according to his tag), which seems to also be called a pink rock lily. I'm anxiously waiting it's blooming. Anyway, minus the teacup, these are my orchids. Nothing too special, but I really like them.

I think they're very special! I would be proud to have so many nice flowers blooming. And your plants look very healthy.

Pictured are two Dendrobiums and the rest are Phalaenopsis.

The containers in pics 3 and 4 have holes, correct?

They do not, we seem to have figured out what works for us. The watering we do and the level of the roots in the pots seems to be really happy. We had one unhappy one, the one that is pretty much solid yellow, replanted to a new pot and it's already getting happier. My husband saw the potting method at a hotel in California and came home and repotted my own non-blooming orchid and bam, with in a month, it shot it's sprout up and with in two it had full blooms. It was so much happier.

FWIW - I think Anon was asking about the holes because most orchids are epiphytes and in order to remain healthy and thrive...they do need air circulation to the roots. Most hotel orchids are not grown for long periods but rather displayed until the blooms are gone and then they are replaced so while it's pretty...there's a strong chance that, over the long-haul, it might not be the best set up. Adding to the potential problems...it looks like your medium might be a bit too dense (potential compaction issues). Might just be the way I'm seeing the pics but that's something else you might want to watch.

The flowers are all beautiful...you've done a great job w/them but watch those roots for potential problems.

I'll keep an eye on them. They've been really happy so far. If I have to change it up I will. For now they are happy. Thanks for the heads up.
