Default Haraella Odorata Bloom

My first mount bloom, thanks to Andy's Photography is not my strong point, photo taken by cellphone. It's so teeny tiny ...

Nice! I think mine is in bud but I'm not convinced it will open for me.... :c) Are you doing anything special? Do you mist it? Where do you keep it - as in how much light? You know.... tell me your secrets :c)

Seems like a really neat little pant - I may be tempted to grow it someday. What is it, Warm, Interm. or cool growing?

I got the mount in bud, tiny guy and a week later I thought the bud had a fungus because it was turning dark on the bottom...well like dahhhhhh ,...it was the purple sepal, thank goddness I did not pinch the booger off, than she opened. Every now and than I can get a smell out of it and smells so nice, not as aromatic as I thought but she's a youngin' so I will be patient. Tik, I have both mounts in the breakfast nook, no direct sun at all, the nook is bright in light and with working I can only water it 2 times a day. But you know what I do every third day is I take the mount and put the mount in water to make sure the wood stays moist, I do not submerge the plant. Not so sure this is a good thing but so far they look happy happy happy. I have not put them in the home I wanted them to be in, as I keep my new plants away from my others for 2 weeks before moving to a perm home. I also have a single new growth on the lobbii.

Here is a picture of where the plants will be, they will be hung between the windows...left window is west, middle is north, right is direct east.

Cheryl, I also freaked out the first time I saw the dark spot. Though I never thought about pinching it off. Did you watch the darkspot rotate from the top of the bud to the final position on the bottom??

Dave they are intermediate growers, will be an experience for me first mount, first bloom.

Tindo, for real, never thought about pinching the bud, just being funny. Actually I did not see the dark spot make a move. When I noticed the spot it was on the bottom of the bud. Are the blooms really 1/2 inch in size or is this a first bloom runt?? lol. Is my watering regimen workable to keep the odorata happy happy happy.
