Chadam research found that best results for all considerations was to determine the ripening time of the capsule (orchids do not form pods) on your particular plant (it varies within the species) and take the seed 9% before dehiscense (splitting). You can do green-pod or sterilize safely and get maximum germination.

Hmm... you seem to be familiar with this kind of thing. It's the first time i'm going to try growing orchids from seed. Any advice?
