I have never been disappointed with what Hausermann's has sent me. Does your mother collect orchids or are you just getting her one because it is beautiful and the perfect gift?

I am guilty of the "perfect gift" thing. I confess. And you have your chocolates and I have my cakes. It's not quite a guilty pleasure, it's more of an addiction.

She has had a few phals for years, last year one of my sisters gave her a couple milts. I recently sent her a budding catt which bloomed and she loved it. We call her everyday and much of our conversations drift onto orchids. I was talking about my Dendrobium laevifolium and she sounded like she really wanted one. So I found one to send from Hausermanns. (no special occasion) LOL, now I have to feed her orchid addiction as well as mine Oh, she also loves chocolate lol! We give her that too!

I've ordered from Hausermanns and gotten very nice, healthy plants that were very well packed. if money is tight, then you really need to spend it wisely. With Hausermanns, you will get good plants, no risk. With eBay, sometimes you don't quite get what you were expecting.
