Blooming phal with fewndry roots..repotted. Cut spikes?
Default Blooming phal with fewndry roots..repotted. Cut spikes?

Hi everybody I got this phal but lately I noticed the roots were not too good...had some rot so I decided to repot it despite the blooming..
It doesn't have a large root system and its roots look kind of dry.
I water it maybe once a week and the room is at is on the cold side. Not sure whether I should cut the spikes?
Btw it has few buds that are still closed for a while now but they are not shrivelling.
Just not sure what is the best thing to do now :s
Don't have a good feeling about its future :s
Thank you!

Looks like you have a decent amount of roots - I'd leave the spike if it were mine.

The bark looks dry. Try soaking it in tepid water for at least 30 minutes every watering for a few weeks. New bark doesn't absorb water well.

Try to keep the temperature 20° C or above.
