It depends on the species, so do you have any species you want to grow? (or already have)

Not sure if you already found out your answer, buffalo. I grow some jewels in a warm enclosed space with small fan. It's between 19-25 degrees in there with humidity ranging between 55 and 80 %. All plants do well. I have a few types of anoectochilus, macodes, ludisia, a dossinia and a goodyera in there. They all thrive. Some grow faster than others (macodes petola which spreads like wildfire vs. Goodyera pusilla) but I think that is dependent on the species. Good luck with your terrarium!! I'd love to hear your experiences with it! Keep us updated :-)

Edit: most my plants are in sphagnum moss and do great. I never let it dry out completely. It's not soaked but I try to keep it slightly moist.

I grow mine as a houseplant 70-80F days, 60-65F nights, ~50% RH, mix of potting soil and fine bark (sphagnum is OK too), moist but not soggy, very low light ~100-200 ft-candles.
