Default Is My Phal (FINALLY) Growing a Keiki?

This has been growing on my Phal for a while:

It's way too high up to be a leaf, and it's too big to be a node bract. So what do you think?

I'm really hoping it's a Keiki - this Phal has developed a terminal spike, so I would like one that looks like it.

From the photo, it is a bit too soon to tell. It could either be a Keiki or a bloom branch. Be patient. Que sera, sera.

keiki/branch, congrats either way

Perhaps you should look into keiki pastes if you're desperate for a keiki. I've never tried but have heard some positive reviews.

Thank you.

I did purchase some keiki-paste and I have put some on the Phal in question - I'm hoping it works as well as I've heard it does.
