Default How cold is to cold!
I grow all my orchids outside and the Temps are getting in the low 50's. Do you think that is to low and dangerous?

Hi Dave

All my 'chids are in their room with the heater set to 50 so as long as your temps don't go below that, I think they should do alright.

It's 37 here right now and will be dropping below 32 tonight! Brrrrrr.....

And I'm sitting here at the computer, I keep checking the weather and biting my nails. I was going to bring mine in but there's no place except the garage where the heater vents won't get them. It's 52 degrees here and not expected to get any colder so I'm just going to leave them tonight. If we get another cold-er night tomorrow, in they come.

Miramar and the Temp. is 51 at 11:30 pm with a low in the 60's tomorrow.

OMG! That sounds like heaven compared to up here! j/k
Can't wait to get down there for Christmas! I'm going to bring some hoodies so I don't get too cold tho!

I love the cold compared to the heat but the Chids are a little less appreciative!

considering you're in Florida and i'm practically bordering the arctic circle that sounds pretty crazy..
