"Orchid Symphony" (went to the National Botanic gardens today)

Good evening, folks! Today a friend and I made the jaunt to Washington, D.C., and went to the Orchid Symphony display they've got going on. I thought I would share some of my favorites with you (I took waaaaay too many pictures) here in case you were interested.

This is really cool. I'm keeping the date of the show for my local orchid society open so I can visit and hopefully see some good stuff.

That orange hybrid in the second picture is goooorrgeous!!!!!

It was really a blast. I'm sad that the pictures were compressed when they were uploaded and lost some detail/size. They're much better in person but yes so many of them were so beautiful! I took pictures of a million of their tags for future reference my husband doesn't have to know, right? Hehehehe!

I know it.

Mine can't complain though. Not much anyways. Not a penny of his goes into my gardening hobby, especially the orchids.
