You repot your orchid and the first thing you notice is the plant wants to fall over. Bark mix even with sphagnum added just doesn't hold your plant tightly. You think "I must plant it deeper to help hold it steady." Wrong. Shallow is the best way to pot orchids. So here is a solution. A plant clip. Slides onto the edge of the pot and then plant is secured to it. Simple. Here's a couple pics of the clips I make. Small guage wire, a pair of pliers, and walla....voila'.
