Flower Power! Female
Default Flower Power!

The temperatures have been fluctuating here with alternating sunny, hot days and cloudy, raining, cooler days. I guess that told almost all my orchids to throw out flower spikes! YAY!

I noticed my phal has 1 bud at the end of spike growing. My miltionopsis (pictured below) threw out 2 spikes (usually have only ever seen 1 at a time). I've been watering this twice a week and even repotted it recently a few days ago and didn't even notice them until just now! My dendrobium lawesii var bicolor has buds (pictured below, originally was told they were keikis). My dendrobium miyakei has buds too (3rd time blooming this year). I'll post pictures once they bloom!

- Susan

Edit: No idea why the photo of the lawesii posted sideways.
