If by fur you mean that the paph has little hairs all over the roots that fine paph should have some. Could you post a picture of the roots so we can see?

I would send the plant back.

but if you cant do that you need to remove the affected areas with a sterilized cutting tool, then put some cinnamon on the cut area.

The furry root looks like it was the only good one, was there more than one like that? Those black ones are probably non- functional at this point. Paph roots are supposed to be hairy. I would not recommend soaking roots in anything harsh like hydrogen peroxide.

Re: the leaves, I don't think if is erwinia. It looks like mechanical damage to me. As long as it is dry & not squishy it will be OK. Just to be sure get a sharpie and outline the black areas. It the black does not move beyond the outline you have nothing to worry about. If it does then you should cut the black parts out with sterile scissors all the way into healthy green tissue. Then seal the cut ends with cinnamon.

The orchid has at least 7 roots but 5 of them have just started growing and their really tiny, the brown spots look and feel and dry but the roots smell of manure but i didn't put it in manure it was in bark when it arrived. can i apply hydrogen peroxide mixed with water or isopropyl alchohol mixed with water on the brown marks to kill any fungi/bacteria?

I would not worry about doing that unless the spots begin to spread. It wouldn't do much to eradicate an internal infection anyway.
