Concertinas?

I just read this mentioned in another thread and thought maybe this is what I'm seeing on my oncidium leaves. I searched the Internet & found only 1 pic, then searched OB through tapatalk & only found one other post about them, so I'd still like some help or advice.

I did recently cut back on watering this guy and with all the new roots I'm considering moving him into semi hydro to get him out of this sphag. Purchased him after Christmas on clearance with noid & only 1 flower looked nice enough for a pic. I'm attaching the flower pic and updated photos of the plant including what i think might be a slight concertina. I think the pseudo bulbs look pretty good. Sorry for pic quality, not much light yet this morning.

Any advice or comments are appreciated. It's hard for me to pick favorites among my orchids, but I really like this little guy and want to do right by him
