And on it plods! I think the value of this thread is that there are some really different approaches here, but we are able to express our views without someone getting offensive! That's a lot to say - no matter your definition of the phrase "good value" we all are able to defend the reasons we have for our views without belittling someone else - I now have a better, more informed view of this matter - I have learned something and hope others have as well - I want to thank all the board members who were respectful of other members who are in the discussion; it shows we can have pride in own collections and let others find joy in their collection - that's how it should be!
Thanks again for a good (if off-track) discussion!
Steve

haha as soon as I read the title to this thread I just had to click on it! My boyfriend and I have recently found a love for orchids. For the past few Sundays we have made it a tradition to hit up a couple different Lowe's and rescue some clearanced orchids and bring them home with us for some much needed rehab lol.
It's such a shame how they are treated in most of these stores. When we find the orchids they are either totally soaked and drowning in water or bone dry! Such a crime!
With that said I am very much looking forward to Sunday lol
Oh the little things in life that bring us happiness =)

Hope everyone has a great day!

I have thought about doing this too! But my fiance will probably think I'm insane =X I told him I joined this board and he was like, "Is there like a big community that grows them or something? That's weird." And then I pointed out the things he collects and he was like "Okay, sorry." XD
