Question Strange hole in a NoID phal. leaf

I recently repotted this poor plant (it's been having problems for awhile now) and I noticed this strange, blister like hole that seems to go all the way from the top side of the leaf to the bottom.

I suspect it might be some kind of disease, but I am not sure what kind. I have attached a photo of the leaf (and hole) in question to clarify what my description cannot.

the only thing I can think of is snails or slugs but I would think they would do more damage.

Do you have a cat? I had a similar hole in the leaf of one of my plants, and it was caused by the little devil jumping into the terrarium with the plant and his claw punched through the leaf.

I keep my orchids in my bathroom and my cat is strictly an outdoor cat. So I don't think those might be the causes.

It's ok, no offense taken.

It has suffered no falls or accidents unless it fell and someone else in my family put it back and didn't tell me it fell.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it spreads. Then if it does you would need to cut the bad part off. But for now I would just watch it. Good luck!

Any chance a drop of cold water sat there for a bit? Doesn't look worrisome to me, unless it spreads (as said before).
