What to do with a Phal with roots, but no leaves?
Default

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I'm definitely going to take this as a learning curve and keep on trying orchids. They are just so pretty, I don't think I could resist buying more! LOL!

And my new orchid, which I got last week, opened a new flower yesterday, 5 more buds to come. So I've got this to enjoy now.

But thanks everyone for all your help - I've definitely learned a few things and I'm glad I tried to save it.

What to do with a Phal with roots, but no leaves? Female
Default Were you able to save it?

I realize it's been quite a few years since this post was made… However I have a very similar situation to yours. After googling how to save a phalaenopsis with no leaves, I found your post. Just wondering if you were able to save your precious?

This person ("supersheep") has not been active on this forum for a very long time.

If you have a Phal with roots and no leaves, continue to grow as normal. It will take a while, but it can bounce back. It would not be easy for it to, but the possibility is there.
