Vandas
It is my understanding that vandas can only absorb water for roughly 8 minutes per day. I have one in a hanging teak basket and the roots are growing slowly but steadily. I live in Virginia and during the winter should I just mist it a couple of times per day since the humidity during heating season is low inside the house? I have had it outside all summer and it is doing fine with green root tips. I have misted/sprayed it when the roots are whitish in color and have made sure they are greenish. Does anyone see an issue maintaining this regimen inside?
Thanks
Roger
