My latest order from Schwerter arrived today:
90. Oncidium cheirophorum - a fragrant miniature. And I mean miniature: I've seen peas bigger than its pseudobulbs.
91. Dtps. Purple Gem 'Blue' - an equestris primary hybrid, top of my wish list for quite a while.
92. P. Stone Dance var. yellow - another "must have" equestris hybrid for equestris aficionados.
93. P. corningiana X P. amboinensis white.

So in two years I bought 93 orchids. Plus 2 divisions, plus 4 keikis = 99 pots. Minus 9 plants that I killed in my first year, minus 5 plants that I donated for lack of room = 85 pots. By the time I bought the 60th I had already ran out of space. Now I feel like juggling: two in my hands, three in the air...

Can't you see how miserable I feel? Somebody?

LOL, well send them to me!!!
I really wanted to buy a Stone Dance when I ordered in May, but I couldn't afford another one, and there was nothing in my shopping basket that I was willing to part with.
Purple Gem is a great Phal, I love mine and I happened to have found it at the garden center! The spikes behave much like equestris, in that they will keep extending for a long time. It's also often puts out multiple spikes.

invest on an escalating tiers to put your orchids in(or make them from scrap wood) and hang some of them a foot away from the windowsill and at a foot intervals apart on hooks....one hook can hang four large Vandas(I have a cathedral ceiling) more if you hang medium and minis

I have four windows(kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a baywindow in the livingroom) its all full of orchids on top of a table is a four tiered plant stand

its all in the arrangement and juxtaposition of your plants....in fact you can have more! a hundred maybe ....or double that number you have now
