schoenorchis fragrans culture? - Orchid Board

Hi all -
Anyone have any culture tips for schoenorchis fragrans? I have just acquired one and all I have real is int. temps, med light, med water, etc. Would appreciate any advice or tips. Thanks in advance.

I grow mine mounted in Phal light (1000 - 1500 fc)
I water daily

I believe these need a cool, dry winter rest in order to bloom

Not dry, but dryer than normal. Mine is mounted and I hang it about 2 inches away from the light. I water every day to every other day. I am not getting blooms yet, but it is just getting to blooming sizer (the size of a quarter).

About what is the temperature range and is your light natural daylight or something else?

and yes, by dry rest I mean less water - not no water, and for sure no fertilizer

I grow at about 80 day 65 night under HPS lights
winter it goes on a cool windowsill for a few months

I grow under lights. I didn't put it in a cooler location last winter, but I will be this year. I like the cool window idea!
