I think we are, but that I made an incorrect assumption. The end points on the spikes of my first phal didn't appear to have these... or they were so small, I hardly noticed. They're big enough on the 2nd one that I definitely spotted them. I realize now that there's no significance other than just being spike end points.

Anyway... I've learned something new. Thanks!
