Default Superthrive vs B-1

Which is better for reviving orchids that have been severely neglected and dehydrated? Some have a lot of roots and some have very little but all have new growth.

Here's a recipe I've used in the past that has done real well for me. Per gallon of water add:
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 drop superthrive
1/2 teaspoon ballanced fertilize

Give plants about a 15 minute soak. Then pot them up, and don't water until you see good new growth. Or you can just mist them occasionally, for a week or two.

I alternate between a few drops of SuperThrive and a few drops of K-L-N in every gallon of my regular fertilizer.

Physiologically, the absolutely, very best soaking solution for a desiccated plant is pure water.

Adding a lot of stuff to the soaking water actually tends to extract water from the plant in order to dilute the soaking solution - it's an "entropy" thing.

However, I will have to say that the rooting hormones are so strong, that they are quite effective without being an overburdening solute. I also add some soluble trace element mixture (STEM) to the soaking solution if the plant is not overly desiccated.
