Default Do you have a favorite orchid book?

I am looking for a "good" book on orchid care. Any suggestions?

There are lots of good books. The list can depend upon your budget...

Ortho's book on growing orchids - available for $10-$12 at most Lowes or Home Depots - is a good, basic book.

The "bible" is Rebecca Tyson Northen's "Home Orchid Growing", which has been out of print a while, but is readily available on line.

I also refer to Botanica's Orchids when ID-ing species.

I could not have recommended better than Ray.
His recommendation is exactly what I would have suggested.

The Ortho book was the first one I ever purchased and I love it out of the 30 or so orchid books that I own.
