Here are some pictures of one of my bulbyforums. It has already created two new leads this year and I am wondering if these are spikes or new leads? Sorry about the picture quality.

Hi,
The resolution is so low I am having trouble making out the exact structure. Can you give me a genus and species or hybrid name? It's always cool to have new growth!

What kind of Bulbophyllum is it?

I think it's a new lead growth.

It's really hard to tell from the pics, but I too am leaning towards them being new growths.

Hard to tell for sure, but I would agree with the others that it is a new lead. When bulbos spike the structure is very round, and thin, and comes from the base of the plant.
