Aboard Orchidstra, I am going to move your thread to "beginner discussion". Please go to "break the ice" and introduce yourself to the OB community, where our members will welcome you.

As for your question, I am not sure if your questioning a vendor or enviromental growing indoors.

Welcome Orchidstra. Many of us grow indoors due to no greenhouse or wrong climate. As I sit inside nice and warm with all the snow outside in Oregon, contemplating the weather forecast for unusally cold weather for the next week, I wonder what I will be doing to protect EVERYTHING around here! My orchids do fine in the house with a humidity tray and sitting in a window. No direct blowing of the heater or air conditioner. Most of mine sit on a glass table with eastern exposure. Others are situated in humid places in the house, like the kitchen window. Masdies and Restrepias like the northern exposure. My Phals like a bathroom with southern exposure. Off to do Christmas chores. The holidays wait for no woman.
