Default Orchids Shows and Warm Weather Mean...

So, with all the orchid shows (had the pleasure of making it to the Pacific Orchid Exposition and it was amazing!) and warmer weather (hopefully coming around the corner for you folks in snow!) what is on your wish list this year?

It's hard to choose when you've been bitten by the orchid vampire!

Love my new Amesiella Monticola! The bloom smells like heaven!

So, let's hear your lists on what you plan to pick up this year or really, really want!

Very cool!
I'm waiting for the weather to get a little warmer and then I'm having a Phrag Besseae var. Flavum sent. I live near orchids limited though so I can get stuff threw-out the year.

I have so many!

The list:

1) Burrageara Nelly Isler
2) Zygopetelum mackayi BG White
3) Encyclia lancifolia, Prosthechea trulla
4) Encyclia prismatocarpa
5) Encyclia randii
6) Encyclia phoenicea
7) Paphiopedium malipoense
8) C Loddigesii
9) C shroderae
10) Angraecum breve
11) Aerides houlletianum
12) Dendrobium anosmum
13) Dendrobium aggregatum*
14) Coelogne orcheacea/nitida
15) Coelogne memoria W Micholitz
16) Paph delenatii v. Album crystella*
17)*Psygmorchis pusilla

The good news is that I have forbidden myself to order these online and I won't likely find them at our local shows. Whew! I already have too many. Still, it is really fun to look for them. I guess this is the list of orchids I won't resist if I see them, these and any angraecums.

Wj, be sure to post pics when it comes!

Leafmite, beautiful list. It's hard to control yourself when you see some orchids you didn't know you had to have, especially at shows! As we always say, "Leave your wallet in the car!" Haha!

But, it might this year you'll get lucky and cross half those off your list.

I would love a Waianae Leopard "Ching Hua" Cattleya and a Meiracyllium trinasutum var. alba! ;X

im so excited for the warmth i have many thing i want to get! but because i dont have money, i dont let myself think of a long list :P two that i am hoping to get from Ooi at the Sepos show are phal borneensis and phal penang starbright. and as always, ill be on the lookout for a phal pulchra.

the fun part about shows is seeing what you get before you buy it, so i always budget money for 1 or 2 impulse buys

I don't even want to THINK about my wishlist! I'll only list the main ones, or else this post will go on and on...
Phal Fantasy Musick (which I know where to get)
A Clowesia rosea or hybrid of (will be getting on later this year)
A new Phal parishii
Phal stuartiana
Phal equestris 'orange'
A red Phrag
Sarcochilus hartmannii

And the ones I want, but are difficult/impossible to find in Europe:
Den Enobi Purple 'Splash'
Den stratiotes
Phal Orchid World

I'm going to a show in 10 days, and I hope to remove many orchids from my wishlist then!!

Actually, I feel rather content at the moment since winning the number one on my wishlist, P. equestris 'Orange' at an Swedish orchid auction. I also won an equestris Blue Lip which was also on my wishlist, so I'm feeling very satisfied right now.

The only orchid I really want and is debating about whether to buy this year or not is Paph. gratrixianum... I don't think I'm ready to move on to another genus just yet.
