To answer the original question. There's no way to stake a Phal bellina without seriously risking breakage. The inflorescence is pendulous by nature. It is often seen with the flowers tucked underneath the leaves.

Hi Jayfar, You have a very beautiful bellina!
Ref the styro - that's exactly what I did to mine.
I've had to do it again as a new leaf was forming and squashing the spikes (as Philip mentions...it's natural)... but I'd like to see my flowers.... so here it is now with me gently teasing the spikes to grow over the new leaf.

Great tip. I have a belina just started on a spike so I will have to keep that in mind.
