Is it right?
I'm a bit confused about how to fertilize my orchids. They are in s/h and water them every 5 days(when I see the reservoir is close to drying)

I grow my plants outdoors with sufficient lights, Right now I am using a ratio of 5-4-4. Is it safe to use that every time I put water to my s/h pot?

I do flushing every 15 days, then after flushing I put water with fertilizer continuously..Is it safe? I will appreciate your advice because I'm afraid my plants will die from over fertilizing.

Thank you.

I water and flush about like you do, my fertilizer ratios are a bit more. I think you're perfectly safe using your fertilizer at each watering.

Oops, I forgot to add: if you start to see fertilizer burn just cut back. I have had that on an onc or two, the leaf tips turn brown. I just cut the fertilizer down, flush an extra time and have had no further problems.
