Default dendrobium problem

Hi everyone. First off, I haven't the faintest idea what a "Thread" is or a "tag". Can someone tell me what they mean. I've never been on a foram before. I just want some answers to some questions concerning my orchid. It says below I have to seperate my tags using a coma. DUH! And I can add 5 tags to this thread. Again..DUH! Help me. How do I post a question if I dont understand the above.? Jessica from Florida

Well you just started your first thread. The comments by people and the first one you created are the thread the single comments are posts.

Don't know what tags are in this context but feel free to ask your questions like:

How are you?

If you want to ad pictures you need to make 5 posts (or something).

As Rob said, you have started a thread here, so you are part way there. A thread is a new conversation, a post is the individual replies on each thread.

See for a link which tries to help you get started. http://www.orchidboard.com/community...u-started.html

Tags are optional. You don't need to use them. So just ignore them if you don't no what to do with them.

Tags are really just to help searching later. So you might put a tag of Dendrobium and later someone may want to search for all posts with a tag of Dendrobium. However I don't think most people use the tags at all, and you don't have to put any on your post.

If you are still getting stuck drop me a Personal Message or PM. There is a link in my signature to do that.
