Mushy phal leaves, is it the end? Female
Default Mushy phal leaves, is it the end?

Hi guys

I've recently had some issues with my two phals. One has mostly recovered, the other I think might be a goner. There was extensive root rot in this little guy and now all of the leaves are really mushy and turning sort of yellow. Is there anything else I can do? I had clipped the roots that were beyond saving, potted it in new medium that is much more aerated, and have been super light on watering. Is it over? or are there any last ditch efforts I can make to save this guy

Try to keep the humidity up as much as possible. Might try a clear plastic bag tented over it in a warm area.

If it's mushy that sounds like it's a gonna I'm afraid.

If the leaves are just very limp and starting to turn yellow there may be some hope for it by keeping up the humidity as Angela has said and if you still have SOME roots.
