Cool Buying more from Normans??? Should I???

Hello, I'm glad to be part of this message board!

Just need a little advice and maybe a suggestion for now.

I've only purchased from Normans Orchids so I probably don't know better not to. I've been reading some not so great reviews about them.

This past Christmas I recieved a plant from a friend that was purchased from Normans and it was infected with scale insect. It was discouraging. I cured that by washing down the plant with rubbing alcohol and then later with diluted lemon juice. It seemed to fix the problem.

Can anyone tell me about the Tbcm. Snow Gem
(Angcm. philippinense x Tblm. kotoense). I'm thinking about purchasing one. The only place I know is Normans.

Welcome!
I don't know the vendor, but if they are selling healthy plants I say go treat yourself with more orchids!

I agree. The only way to really know, is to buy or check out a few different greenhouses. There are some great links on this site if you want to check them out! Also, check to see if there is a local orchid society chapter...they might have more resources (and maybe could trade plants too!). Yay!!!!
Welcome to this AWESOME site!
